End-to-end orbital hosting
From idea to operations:
we support your space journey at every step by giving you the right tools.
Book your flight and lock in your slot
Tell us about your payload and your target launch date in the booking form. Our mission team replies within 48 hours with a free mission study: compatible host satellites, launch options and a first quote. When the study suits you, we sign the contract and reserve your place on the host satellite and its launch. Your schedule is set and your mission dashboard opens.
Your mission in three phases
1Mission preparation
Your flight is now booked and you can start preparing your payload for it. Our development tools give you a clear, repeatable environment, so you can focus on your mission.
- Mission kick-off with our team, right after signature. Keep your development on track with regular meetings with your Mission Manager, as well as technical and administrative support from our experts.
- Receive your DevKit and integrate your payload along the mission schedule within our container, directly using the real flight interfaces and environment you'll have onboard.
- Pass Design Reviews with our engineers (MRR, PDR, CDR). Each milestone, to be ready and on time for launch, is tracked in your mission dashboard.

2Integration & launch
You deliver your payload, we take it all the way to orbit.
- We receive your payload and run acceptance tests
- Integration on the host vehicle, then final tests
- Launch, then commissioning of the host vehicle

3In Orbit Operations
Your payload is up and running, and you operate it directly.
- Get direct access to your payload through our Payload Operation Center, anywhere, right in your browser
- Send operation requests and automatically receive your data once they are complete
- Use our visual interface or directly task your payload via our API

Frequently asked questions
How long should my payload be ready before launch?
Counted from the day you sign, our average lead time to launch is around 9 months, including at least 5 months to prepare your payload with our DevKit. A standalone DevKit is delivered in about 3 months, and even sooner when you have secured your slot in a complete mission. See the full journey.
Is SpaceLocker manufacturing spacecraft?
We source from a trusted pool of partners, and we also operate our own missions. Either way, you deal with one interface and one team throughout.
What if my payload is bigger than a CubeSat?
Our containers are retro-compatible with the CubeSat standard and go well beyond it: up to 24 kg in our standard configurations, larger on request.
What happens if I'm running late, or ready earlier than planned?
Our design reviews give you flexibility before your slot is locked in. Book your flight to start.
How does pricing work?
Each quote is tailored to your payload footprint, power, data link and pointing needs, and every flight includes launch and one year of operations. Tell us about your mission and we send you a clear proposal. Book your flight →
Can I fly again, or add more payloads later?
Yes. Start with one payload, then repeat your flights, move to a larger container or switch orbit, all on the same interface. Many customers start with a single flight and grow toward a constellation.
Which orbits can I fly to?
Our catalog of hosts covers the main orbits, from Sun-synchronous and low Earth orbit to higher ones. Tell us your target orbit in the booking form and we match you with the right host.
How do I access my payload and its data once in orbit?
You operate your payload directly, with access to its telemetry and data through our operating software and Spacecraft Control Center. The data volume per week depends on your container size: see the specifications.
Is my payload independent from the other payloads on board?
Yes. The Lock has a built-in isolation layer that keeps your payload independent from the host platform and from the other payloads, so each customer flies on their own terms.
Who takes care of radio licensing and ground stations?
We do, on request. A dedicated radio add-on includes the licensing and the ground stations, so you can stay focused on your payload.
